Tree Surveys
Tree surveys are carried out by our sister company, Astell Associates. They will advise you on the condition of your trees by means of a comprehensive tree survey. The survey may be needed so you can get planning approval for a project or because you own some trees that you want to maintain in the best condition. Where appropriate, the survey will be carried out to British Standard 5837:2012.
Astell Associates also carry out surveys on bats, badgers and other protected species, and can advise on the best ways to manage your land while protecting the environment.
Landscape design
Eastland Foresters provides landscape planting schemes for commercial properties and residential developments, as well as for private gardens.
We will recommend suitable trees and shrubs for your project, with a focus on native species and plants to improve biodiversity. We provide information on the recommended planting methods and how to maintain your planting over a number of years.
Woodland management
If you own an area of woodland, we can advise on the best way to maintain the trees, and recommend any necessary felling and tree surgery that may be required.
Where new tree planting is needed, we will recommend species for planting. The emphasis will be on restoring indigenous species and providing a diverse habitat for wildlife and birds.
